What it's about

The product turns a scattered local-information landscape into a place-based experience: choose a community, see what matters nearby and follow every important item back to its original source.

The opportunity

Island communities rely on many publishers, agencies, venues and public services. Useful information is available, but it is often fragmented across sites and difficult to scan as one local picture.

NVL's contribution

NVL co-founded the venture and leads the product engineering: information architecture, responsive experience, source integration, reliability safeguards and the systems that turn many feeds into a coherent local view.

What people can explore

Community-specific news, dated police and public-safety notices, local weather, roads, events, movies and practical directories—alongside broader Vancouver Island coverage.

Designed for trust

Items retain source attribution and publication context. Official notices link to the issuing organization, and the product makes clear when coverage is partial or information can change.
